Dr Vishi Peung

Dr Vishi graduated from James Cook University with two distinctive awards in Prosthodontics (crowns and bridges) and Paediatric Dentistry, awarded by Queensland Dental Group. He continued his postgraduate education at the Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology (UK) and has trained alongside Australia's leading dental surgeons in full mouth implant rehabilitation, including All-on-X and the All-on-4 Malo concept, pioneered by Prof Paolo Malo.

In 2022, he became a DSD (Digital Smile Design) provider and Invisalign doctor through training at Vogue Dental Studios and a DSD clinic in Melbourne. Vishi has developed a profound passion for creating smiles that are facially driven and unique to each patient - whether with natural teeth or full implant rehabilitation. Vishi undertook a surgical implant marathon program in 2023 in Cairo, Egypt with Dr Hazem Torki, an Implant Master from Goethe University, Germany. In 2025, he was awarded a NeoArch certification by NeoDent®, a Straumann™ company, following training in Curitiba, Brazil at ILAPEO® - a world-renowned centre that has trained more than 3,000 professionals globally. In 2026, Vishi travelled to Miami to learn from world-renowned cosmetic dentist Dr Michael Apa at the Apa Symposium. He is now consolidating his practice in Melbourne and welcoming new patients at Dental Care Carnegie.

Having worked across multiple complex rehabilitation centres throughout Australia, Dr Vishi has diagnosed and treated oral diseases across all age groups. This experience shaped his core clinical philosophy: Integrative Dentistry. Most oral diseases are preventable and closely connected to whole-body health. The oral cavity is the body's first point of entry - and should always be healthy and free of infection. Disease spreads easily through everyday actions such as eating, drinking, speaking and swallowing. Dr Vishi takes a holistic approach tailored to each patient's individual health circumstances, including offering metal-free solutions such as pure ceramic restorations and ceramic implants.

Outside the clinic, he enjoys staying active, reading, cycling and spending time outdoors with friends and family. He has a keen interest in neuroscience and is currently undertaking further training in this area. Vishi speaks French and Khmer and warmly welcomes patients who are more comfortable consulting in those languages.
